What Is Slime Seas?

Slime Seas Anime RPG is a fast-paced open-world anime RPG on Roblox by Slime Slaying Online, launched in January 2026. You hunt slimes across multiple islands, pick a weapon mastery, roll a passive race, craft gear at blacksmiths, and beat world bosses to unlock new zones. Slime Seas Roblox is a common search spelling for the same title — formerly known as Slay a Slime during early beta.

Combat runs on weapon mastery rather than fixed classes. Choose Katana, Greatsword, or Scythe during the tutorial — each unlocks four skills at Mastery 0, 1, 3, and 5. A separate race roll adds passive damage bonuses from Human (+5% XP only) to Dragonborn (+20% Scythe and Greatsword). Guilds, trading, and PvP on the seas sit alongside solo PvE.

The game is in beta with frequent updates including the [REBIRTHS] patch for long-term progression. Play via the Roblox game page on PC, mobile, or console through the Roblox app — no separate download.

Slime Seas Controls

Slime Seas uses standard Roblox action-RPG controls on PC. W/A/S/D moves your character. M1 attacks with your equipped weapon. F blocks incoming damage. Q dashes — critical for dodging boss telegraphs at Demon Lord Rima and beyond.

Slot mastery skills on the hotbar with number keys 1–6. Unlock skills at Mastery levels 0 (basic attack), 1, 3, and 5 as you use your weapon type. Open inventory with the backtick (`) key on PC — mobile players tap the bag icon.

Learn block and dash timing on Starter Island slimes before pushing bosses. Slime Seas punishes face-tanking from level 50 onward when mini-bosses and world bosses hit harder.

Pick Your First Mastery

The tutorial forces a mastery choice in Slime Seas — Katana, Greatsword, or Scythe. This decision shapes your entire early game because mastery is per-stance, not per-weapon. Switching later resets progress on the new stance.

Greatsword is the safest Slime Seas beginner pick. Forest Chest (level 1–18) drops five Greatsword variants — Wooden (17.7%), Worn Iron (37.8%), Iron, Refined, Lightsteel — versus one Katana (Wooden Katana at 17.7%). More drops mean faster Mastery leveling and smoother blacksmith upgrades.

Katana suits players who want faster combos and the highest PvE boss damage later. Thousand Slashes at Mastery 5 hits 2,700 PvP damage — best in Slime Seas for solo boss farming. Pick Katana if you land Wooden Katana early from Forest Chest and prefer quick attacks over wide AoE swings.

Scythe has no Forest Chest drops — skip it as a first mastery unless you already know the PvP grab meta. Berserker is a Greatsword stance behind the Berserker Starterpack gamepass — ignore until you confirm you like Greatsword playstyle.

First 30 Minutes on Starter Island

Launch Slime Seas on Roblox and complete Chief Brak III's tutorial quest. Accept every NPC quest on Starter Island — repeat slime kill quests until level 15. Slime Seas progression is quest-driven at low levels, not pure open-world grinding.

Open Shop from the left menu and redeem active Slime Seas codes in the Codes box at the bottom. LIKES25K grants ten race rerolls, two technique rerolls, and a 60-minute Superior EXP potion — the strongest current code batch. Paste codes; never retype manually because strings are case-sensitive.

Reroll your race after committing to a mastery. Human (48% roll, +5% XP only) is always a reroll target. Any Uncommon — Skypiean or Fishman — beats Human. Stop at Rare (Elf or Oni) if it matches your mastery until you farm more rerolls.

Farm slimes for Slime Remnants, Fur Clumps, and Broken Horns. Craft Wolf Tail at level 4 (5 Fur Clumps) and Akuma Horns at level 10 (2 Broken Horns) at the blacksmith. Open Forest Chests for your first real weapon matching your mastery stance.

At level 15, talk to Adventurer Dave for the waypoint tutorial. Activate the Forest Waypoint (1,000 gold + 2 Fur Clumps + 5 Broken Horns) to unlock fast travel — essential for Slime Seas efficiency once you start sailing between islands.

Crimson Ruins and Your First Pet

At level 30+, sail to Crimson Ruins in Slime Forest. The Crimson Demon mini-boss spawns here — beat it for a roughly 9–11% Drake Egg drop. Hatch the egg to get a Forest Drake pet that grows from egg to small dragon to rideable mount.

The mount speeds travel between Slime Seas islands significantly. Farm Crimson Demon until the egg drops — most players get it within a handful of kills. Activate a Superior Luck potion from code rewards to improve drop rates during the farm session.

Crimson Ruins also has a weapon shop with upgraded swords. Buy gear matching your mastery before pushing toward Rima's Spire. Water physics affect boat travel between islands — you can dock on shores and walk your pet across the map.

First Boss — Demon Lord Rima

At level 65, cross the ice bridge to Rima's Spire in Slime Forest. Demon Lord Rima has 4,000 HP and drops Iron Novice armor plus Slime Lord set pieces — your first real gear upgrade in Slime Seas.

Most masteries clear Rima solo in 2–3 minutes with Mastery 3+ skills unlocked. Bring a Greater or Superior Power potion from code rewards if damage feels low. Block (F) during Rima's slam attacks and dash (Q) out of AoE circles.

After the fight, talk to Ash the Pet Master on the ice bridge for pet quest chains. Upgrade weapons at the blacksmith with Upgrade Crystals from dismantling old Forest Chest drops — never sell gear you might dismantle.

Rima unlocks the mid-game gear loop. From here, push Desert Island at level 90 for Zone 2 and prepare for King Sinbad at level 160. Read the progression guide for the full island roadmap.

What to Do Next

After Rima, your Slime Seas beginner phase is complete. Mid-game priorities: farm Desert Island (level 90+) for Zone 2 gear, chase a Fabled race reroll (Lunarian for Katana, Djinn for Scythe), and upgrade to Forest Elder Chest weapons — Refined Katana (37.8%), Adventurer's Greatsword (19%), or Slime Greatsword (8.1%).
