How This Slime Seas Tier List Works

This Slime Seas tier list ranks races, weapon masteries, and boss chase priorities for the Roblox anime RPG by Slime Slaying Online. Slime Seas Roblox players use S / A / B / C / D labels to decide reroll targets, mastery picks, and farming order — one page instead of scattered community tier boards.

Race tiers reflect weapon-specific damage bonuses from the in-game gacha roll. A Legendary race with -50% penalties on your mastery is worse than a Rare race that matches — tier labels alone do not tell the full story. Always cross-reference the race-by-mastery table below before burning rerolls.

Weapon tiers split PvE farming (Katana Thousand Slashes at 2,700 PvP damage) from PvP control (Scythe Death's Grasp grabs) and beginner safety (Greatsword Forest Chest drop rates). Boss tiers rank Slime Seas island gates by HP, drop value, and recommended level.

Slime Seas is in beta — the [REBIRTHS] patch shifted long-term progression. Cross-check race buff numbers in the wiki races section and test your build against Demon Lord Rima before chasing 0.25% Legendary rolls.

Best Slime Seas Race Per Mastery

The best race in Slime Seas depends entirely on your weapon mastery — not a single universal winner. Dragonborn tops general rankings because it buffs Scythe and Greatsword with no negatives, but Katana mains should prioritize Lunarian or Shadowborn instead.

Katana builds in Slime Seas scale with Shadowborn (+35% Katana, +5% Lifesteal, +40% Dash) for maximum burst, or Lunarian (+20% Katana, +10% HP, +10% Move) for a safer hybrid. Elf (+10% Katana, +10% CDR) is the best Rare pick if Legendary rerolls fail.

Greatsword builds in Slime Seas want Oni (+20% GS, +15% HP) early, then Dragonborn (+20% GS, +25% HP, +15% CDR) endgame. Fishman (+10% GS) works as a placeholder Uncommon roll.

Scythe builds in Slime Seas pair Djinn (+20% Scythe, +25% Dash, +15% CDR) for PvP mobility or Dragonborn for dual GS/Scythe flexibility. Never roll Shadowborn on Scythe — the -50% penalty destroys your damage.

Slime Seas PvE vs PvP Tier Priorities

PvE boss farming in Slime Seas favors Katana mastery plus Lunarian or Shadowborn race. Thousand Slashes (Mastery 5) deals 2,700 PvP damage — nearly double Greatsword Spiraling at 1,700 — and grants i-frames during the animation. Most players clear Demon Lord Rima solo in under three minutes with this setup.

PvE AoE clearing on Starter Island and Crimson Ruins favors Greatsword Earth Breaker and Sweeping Slam in Slime Seas. Pair with Oni or Dragonborn for sustain. Forest Chest drops five Greatsword variants versus one Katana — Greatsword levels mastery faster in the first 18 levels.

PvP on the seas caps stats at 10,000 HP and 325 melee, making skill damage the deciding factor. Scythe Death's Grasp into Spinning Strike chains control fights. Djinn's extended dash and Dragonborn's CDR help Scythe mains stay mobile. Katana Shadowborn burst still wins short duels if you land Thousand Slashes.

Hybrid players who switch between PvE and PvP should chase Dragonborn — the only Legendary with no weapon penalties. Shadowborn locks you into Katana forever; Lunarian is the safer Fabled Katana pick with HP and speed.

Slime Seas Race Reroll Priority

Do not burn rerolls before picking a permanent mastery in Slime Seas. Roll your race once after the tutorial, but stop chasing Fabled or Legendary until you commit to Katana, Greatsword, or Scythe — reroll alignment matters more than tier label.

Phase 1: reroll Human immediately (48% default, +5% XP only). Any Uncommon or Rare matching your mastery is worth keeping temporarily. Phase 2: chase Fabled — Lunarian for Katana, Djinn for Scythe. Phase 3: push Legendary — Dragonborn for flexible builds, Shadowborn only if you will never touch Greatsword or Scythe.

Free rerolls from the codes page (LIKES25K grants ten spins) should cover Phase 1 and most of Phase 2 in Slime Seas. Save Robux spins for Legendary chase only after level 65+ when your mastery and gear are settled.

See the races guide for full roll percentages and the builds guide for loadout pairings after you land a keeper race.

Slime Seas Tier List FAQ

What is the best race in Slime Seas?

Dragonborn for flexible Scythe/Greatsword builds. Shadowborn for dedicated Katana PvP. Lunarian for safer Katana PvE. There is no single best race — match your mastery.

What is the best weapon mastery in Slime Seas?

Katana for PvE boss farming (2,700 M5 damage). Scythe for PvP control. Greatsword for beginner AoE and Forest Chest drop rates.

Is Shadowborn worth keeping in Slime Seas?

Only for committed Katana mains. The -25% HP and -50% Greatsword/Scythe penalties make it a trap for flexible players.

Is Human race worth keeping in Slime Seas?

No — reroll immediately. Human only gives +5% XP with zero combat bonuses at a 48% roll rate.

Should I reroll before picking a mastery?

Pick mastery first, then reroll. A Legendary race that penalizes your weapon is worse than a Rare race that matches.

What is the best Slime Seas race for Greatsword?

Oni at Rare tier (+20% GS, +15% HP), then upgrade to Dragonborn (+20% GS, +25% HP, +15% CDR) for endgame.

How does Slime Seas tier list differ from Slime RNG?

Completely different games. Slime Seas uses races and weapon masteries — Slime RNG uses power fruits. Do not cross-reference tier lists.
